Helen lives and works in the lovely South Cheshire countryside close to the iconic Beeston Castle and is a skilled lapidary and silversmith.

Helen previously worked with husband John and brother-in-law Peter (also known in the jewellery trade by many as the Hilton Bros.) running Manchester Minerals Ltd. After 50 successful years of trading they finally decided that it was time to close the on-line store and for John at least, to focus on enjoying a well earned retirement. Helen, as the younger partner still had a few ideas. It was her original intention to run lapidary and silversmithing classes at her Shropshire farm house but due to a bout of illness for husband John, things changed. Although John recovered it became clear that life would need to be simpler.

The sale of their beloved farm house was completed and they moved to Beeston. Although things changed it was important to Helen to have a dedicated space where she can express herself in her jewellery. Inspired by the natural world and with a fully equipped, dedicated workshop Helen is now again producing truly unique pieces of art jewellery.
